Earring Repair, by Mail

A bent post, a lost back, a clip that pinches — or clip-ons you'd love as pierced. Mail them in and our master jewelers repair, replace and convert, then return them insured. Firm quote before any work.

What we do to earrings

Post & Back Replacement

Bent or broken posts re-soldered or replaced; new secure and screw backs fitted.

Clip ↔ Pierced Conversion

Clip-ons converted to posts, or posts to clips, to match how you wear them.

Hoop & Hinge Repair

Hoop closures, hinges and latches repaired so they click shut and stay secure.

Stone Re-Setting

Loose or missing stones re-set and matched under gemologist oversight.

Solder & Rebuild

Cracks and worn joints soldered and rebuilt, finished so the repair is invisible.

Refinish & Restore

Polishing and rhodium plating so the pair matches and looks new again.

Small parts, done precisely

Earrings are tiny and worn close to the skin, so the work has to be exact and comfortable. Every pair is handled by a master jeweler who re-solders posts, fits secure backs, and converts fittings cleanly — with trained gemologists (HRD Antwerp and ERIJ) checking anything set with stones.

You approve a firm, flat quote after we inspect the pair, and they ship back to you fully insured.

Earring repair FAQ

Can you replace a broken earring post?

Yes. We re-solder or replace broken and bent posts so the earring is secure and comfortable to wear again.

Can you convert clip-on earrings to pierced?

Yes, and the reverse. We convert clip-ons to posts, or posts to clips, on most earrings so they suit how you wear them.

I lost one earring back — can you help?

Yes. We supply and fit replacement backs, including secure locking and screw backs matched to your posts.

How much does earring repair cost?

It depends on the metal and the repair. We send a firm flat quote after we see the earrings, and you approve it before any work begins.

Can you re-set a stone that fell out of an earring?

Yes. Our jewelers re-set loose stones and source matching replacements under gemologist oversight.

Are my earrings insured when I mail them?

Yes. You ship on a prepaid, fully insured FedEx label through IFS (In4Sure), tracked, with signature required, both ways.
