Setting work is where cheap repairs go wrong — a stone chipped in the setting, a mismatched replacement, a prong that lets go a month later. Every stone that comes to us is worked by a master jeweler under magnification, with trained gemologists (HRD Antwerp and ERIJ) documenting and checking your diamonds and gemstones.
If a stone is missing, we source a true match in cut, color and size so the piece looks whole again. If prongs or bezels are worn, we rebuild them so nothing shifts or falls.
You approve a firm, flat quote after we inspect the piece, and it ships back to you fully insured.
A loose stone rarely announces itself before it's gone. Worn or bent prongs are the single most common reason a stone falls out — often loosening gradually over months until, one day, the setting is empty. If you can feel a stone move, or a prong catches on a sweater or scarf, that's the moment to send it in, not after. A pavé or eternity band that's lost two or three accent stones over the years usually didn't lose them all at once; each one worked loose the same unnoticed way. Once a diamond is gone from a pavé setting, it's essentially never recovered — which is why we'd rather catch a bent prong on a solitaire early than replace a stone later.
