Ring Resizing & Repair, by Mail

Too tight, too loose, or worn thin — mail your ring in and our master jewelers resize and restore it, then return it insured. You see a firm quote before any work begins, and the finished join is invisible.

What we do to rings

Size Up or Down

Comfortable, precise sizing in gold, platinum and silver — adding or removing metal cleanly.

Re-Shanking

Worn-through or thin shanks rebuilt so the band is strong and even again.

Prong Re-Tipping

Worn prongs rebuilt to hold your stones securely — before you lose one.

Stone Tightening

Loose center and accent stones re-set and secured under magnification.

Solder & Repair

Cracked or split bands soldered and restored, with the join finished invisible.

Refinish & Restore

Polishing, rhodium plating and full restoration so the ring looks new again.

Sized by master jewelers, not a mall counter

Resizing sounds simple until it's done badly — a lumpy join, a weakened shank, a stone knocked loose. Every ring that comes to us is worked by a master jeweler, under magnification, with trained gemologists (HRD Antwerp and ERIJ) overseeing anything involving stones.

We resize the band, rebuild what's worn, re-set what's loose, and re-finish the metal so the repair is invisible and the ring is as strong as the day it was made. Then it ships back to you fully insured.

And you're never surprised by the price: we send a firm, flat quote after we see your ring, and nothing happens until you approve it.

Ring resizing FAQ

How much does ring resizing cost?

It depends on the metal, how many sizes the ring moves, and the setting. We give you a firm flat quote after we see photos or inspect the ring, and you approve it before any work begins.

How many sizes can a ring go up or down?

Most rings move a size or two comfortably, and larger changes are possible on many bands by adding or removing metal. We tell you what's safe for your specific ring.

Can you resize any ring?

Most rings, yes. Some full-eternity or tension-set designs can't be sized conventionally; if that's the case we tell you honestly and suggest the best alternative.

Will resizing damage my ring?

Done properly, no. Our master jewelers resize under magnification and re-finish the band so the join is invisible and the ring is as strong as before.

How long does ring resizing take?

Typically a few business days once we receive it, plus shipping time. We confirm a timeline together with your quote.

Is my ring insured when I mail it?

Yes. You ship on a prepaid, fully insured FedEx label through IFS (In4Sure), tracked, with signature required, both ways.
